Review – Pasta Avenue Nungambakkam

I always had an eye on this place since I am frequently visit the CCD that’s nearby. Always thought about dropping in sometime, but never got the time to visit, sometimes I would even go to the Nilgiris next to it but forget to go there until one day when me and m partner were deciding on a place to drop in for our dinner. We both being pasta afficianados, she came up with a suggestion to visit this outlet.

Located on Shafi Mohammad road opposite Apollo Children's hospital it is hard to miss. It is right next to Nilgris.

Speaking about the restaurant, I would say, this is the smallest eatout I have ever been to. Eventhough the place was small, it ws well furnished I loved the ambience and especially the bistro look of it. It's a small place with maybe 4 tables. We were the only ones there. There's only 1 person to take out orders and serve.

Though I’m a big fan of pasta, I left the ordering choice to my partner and friend as she is an expert when it comes to the pasta varieties than me. We ordered Arrabiata and the Pasta with Spaghetti meat balls.
And the Pasta tasted good too. But the only problem was, that I wasn’t sure whether it’s a pasta or a noodles.

I came out with a smile in the face and contentment in heart. And yeah, pricing were reasonable.
I can't wait to try out next time.

It’s a very cosy little place with some good food and service. Quite decently priced for the quantity served and the size of the joint does not define the size of their menu!

Overall, a new pasta joint to look out for.
Verdict 4/5
Ambience 4/5
Value for money 4/5
Food 4/5
Service 4/5
